When the shapeshifting farmer, Hootman Bunky, sees his precious crops destroyed by a reckless, gigantic monster, he's determined to do anything he can to stop it. However, he soon learns that the creature is not what it seems, and he may have to put aside his own anger to help prevent a catastrophe.

This story is for young readers beginning to transition from picture books to chapter books. It's a story about the importance of working together to find creative solutions.

One of my main motivations for making this book was to improve both my writing and drawing ability simultaneously. Taking inspiration from mid-elementary level chapter books such as Fantastic Mr. Fox and The Wild Robot, I decided to make the book in a more text-heavy style. I hope you enjoy reading it, and I look forward to hearing your feedback.
